MiaBella Kennels run by Chris & Jane Counsell, breeders of Lagotto Romagnolo dogs in the Wairarapa, New Zealand.
Lagottos were originally bred as water retrievers in Italy but nowadays they are the only breed recognised as Truffle sniffing dogs. They are a high energy breed that enjoys life to the fullest and make excellent working dogs and family pets.
Unfortunately we are not currently actively breeding. Although you are welcome to register your interest in purchasing a puppy from us your initial enquiries should be directed to active breeders who are members of the NEW ZEALAND LAGOTTO ROMAGNOLO CLUB.
